We’ve included a glossary(meaning/definition/use) for abstract words, and phrases used on GODCandleMarket.com and in the Image Nation of Numeria . The glossary may be accessed at the top of the Mind Mall or the bottom of any page.
This glossary is important, because for abstract concepts there is a nuanced difference between definition and meaning. Definition defines or identifies, while meaning uses or actualizes.
One of the main causes of misunderstanding is that while there may be an agreed upon definition of a concept, no shared meaning of the actualization exists. This also leads to a discussion about fact vs. truth.
When appropriate, I begin with the scientific or formal definitions of the words used. However, my actualized meaning may diverge. This isn’t to dispute the definitions, but to illustrate the variability of use.
For example, take the word Love. We can find several definitions for the word love. Yet, in the individual life, love is actualized in an infinite number of ways. The source of many broken hearts is the lack of a shared meaning about what it means to love.
That’s what’s been lost in the elimination of nuance and symbology in our natural languages. The ‘Machine‘ uses the most narrow definition, while the human life will experience the same concept expansively.
Now that we’ve moved toward linear thought and machine language, humans are attempting to adapt to ‘Machine‘ narrow definitions.
Unfortunately, this has created an unnatural and meaningless rubricIn our technologically driven world, Rubrics are powerful t… of humanity, because these narrow definitions can’t convey the variability of life’s actualizations. So the expansion of life’s experiences is left out of the equation. Not because it doesn’t exist, but because the ‘Machine‘ can’t calculate it.
Before we had definitions, humans used stories, music and art to illustrate life’s expansion and teach others how to traverse life’s undefined paths. No we have reality tv.
